Geneva “Lavon” Ulvano is fighting for her life, and she desperately needs your help! Geneva was diagnosed with a severe and progressive form of pulmonary arterial hypertension and COPD, conditions that make it very difficult to breathe and usually worsens over time. With less oxygen and blood flow into the lungs, and less oxygen getting to the rest of the body, symptoms such as dizziness, shortness of breath and fatigue have taken over Geneva’s body. Due to the disruption of airflow in and out of her lungs, Geneva’s lung function is very poor and she is now at a critical stage of her diagnosis. She requires full time e oxygen in order to be able to breathe, and over the years, Geneva has been in and out of the hospital fighting for her life. Doctors have now told Geneva that without a lifesaving lung transplant, her time will soon run and she won’t survive too much longer. As Geneva waits for a transplant and undergoes medical testing, she continues to face out-of-pocket medical expenses. More than ever she needs your support and financial help and cannot go it alone!

Geneva is a current resident of Orlando, Florida where she’s worked in sales for over 10 years. She is originally from North Carolina and graduated from Rockingham County Senior High. She has a very large family of 15 brothers and sisters, and many nieces and nephews who are committed to supporting her through her upcoming lung transplant. Unfortunately, Geneva has recently been admitted to the hospital in Gainesville, where she is currently waiting for transplant and the telephone call that will save her life!
