Marion is the loving wife of Neal Fisher, mother of three, grandmother and good friend to many. She grew up in St. Cloud, MN and graduated from Apollo High School and then went on to St. Cloud Technical College. She currently lives in Berkeley Springs, WV. Marion has always worked hard, cared for her family and has been an active member of the community. Due to her poor health she is no longer able to work or do many things she has always enjoyed. After she has her transplant, she looks forward to returning to work, spending quality time with her grandchildren and family and friends. Our family is committed to seeing her through this transplant and we need your help to do this.
Transplants are life-saving but financially draining. Even with insurance, Marion is facing very high out of pocket expenses. Some of these are co-pays, deductibles, travel and relocation to Pittsburgh at the time of transplant for at least two months, living donor expenses and she will be on a life-time of anti-rejection medications.
To help with the financial burden of Marion’s uninsured expenses, a fundraising campaign in her honor has been established with HelpHOPELive, a trusted nonprofit organization that has been providing community-based fundraising guidance to patients and their families for more than 30 years. All donations are tax deductible, and are held by HelpHOPELive in the Mid-Atlantic Liver Transplant Fund, and are administered by HelpHOPELive for transplant-related expenses only. On behalf of Mom and our family, thank you for you kindness, generosity, support and prayers. Keep an eye on her campaign page because we will be planning some fundraising events soon and posting updates regularly.

Received the gift of life from my daughter Jaiden, on June 6 2016. Live donors rock.
Going for Pre-op evaluation on Wednesday. Last hurdle before transplant.
Marion's campaign was in the news: www.morganmessenger.com
The surgery date is set for May 23rd 2016. I (Jaiden) will be donating a part of my liver to my mom.
My pre opperation appointment is May 11th 2016.
I am so glad to be her match. I was tested and told my liver was too small. I asked if I could donate to a child and they said i could. About two weeks later they called me and told me they reviewed my case and my liver is big enough and I am a match.
Marion is on the transplant list. I (Jaiden) have been tested and told I am a match to donate to her. We are now in the process of waiting for a surgery date and hope to do it in May.
Please help us.
Thank you.
