Holly has recently learned of a promising and exciting treatment known as HSCT therapy, or non-embryonic stem cell therapy to treat her MS. She is hoping this therapy will enable Holly to become less reliable on her wheelchair, increase her muscle tone and mobility, improve motor function, and reduce her overall pain level and dizziness. Holly is constantly facing balance issues and not being able to spend time alone, or walking without assistance has proved very frustrating for Holly.
After medical testing and consultation, Holly has been approved for HSCT therapy at a center in California called StemGenex. There, Holly will use her own isolated stem cells and will have them injected into her own body for therapy and treatment. This promising treatment could help her symptoms improve, however the cost of this treatment is not covered by Holly’s health insurance. In addition to the cost of the treatment, Holly will incur travel, lodging and meal fees, as well as living expenses. She cannot do it alone and desperately needs your help to reach her goal and make the HSCT treatment a reality. Holly has chosen to fundraise with HelpHOPELive in part because HelpHOPELive assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility for donors. Donors can be sure that funds donated will be used only to pay or reimburse medically-related expenses. To make a tax-deductible donation to this fundraising campaign, click on yellow DONATE NOW button. For more information, please contact HelpHOPELive at 800.642.8399. Thank you ahead of time for your thoughts, prayers and blessings. Any donation amount is greatly appreciated and one step closer to a brighter future for Holly.
