Holly Fudge, a long-time resident of Big Bear Lake, California is 63 years-old and should be enjoying life and getting ready to retire, and spend time with her family and friends. Instead, Holly has been suffering with a debilitating and chronic medical condition known as Multiple Sclerosis or MS. MS is an autoimmune disorder that causes many symptoms, like numbness, weakness, loss of vision, muscle pain and tremors, slurred speech, dizziness, profound fatigue and even problems with bowel and bladder function. Since 2001, Holly has been managing and treating her MS, but unfortunately conventional medications and treatments have proved ineffective. Holly receives intravenous pain medication through a port, in addition to monthly infusions to help with her immune system. While these options are all helping Holly keep her symptoms at bay, she feels she has reached a plateau in her treatment options.

Holly has recently learned of a promising and exciting treatment known as HSCT therapy, or non-embryonic stem cell therapy to treat her MS. She is hoping this therapy will enable Holly to become less reliable on her wheelchair, increase her muscle tone and mobility, improve motor function, and reduce her overall pain level and dizziness. Holly is constantly facing balance issues and not being able to spend time alone, or walking without assistance has proved very frustrating for Holly.
