Mackenzie needs your help.

In August 2015, Mackenzie Madsen became that one person in six million when she was diagnosed with a rare lung disease, Pulmonary Veno Occlusive Disease (PVOD). Having PVOD means that Mackenzie’s lung function will steadily decrease and, without a double lung transplant, will ultimately prove fatal. At the time of diagnosis, she was merely 28-years-old; a life of love and home and children along with service and wild adventure still ahead of her — waiting to be explored, waiting to be shared. Mackenzie will be treated at the University of California – San Francisco (UCSF).

Thank you for your article in Redbook! It moved me to contribute to your campaign. The message you are spreading that it's always important to put your best face (and outfit!) forward despite the physical and mental challenges one may be facing any given day is a powerful one! Thank you for helping me to remember the importance of that...
