Cos DeLeo is in need of a kidney transplant and needs the help of his community to make it happen. Transplants are life-saving but even with insurance, very expensive. Cos and his wife, Carol, will be celebrating 35 years of marriage in May. They want to be able to celebrate many more.
In 2001, Cos was diagnosed with End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD). He began dialysis in May 2001. He received a kidney transplant on March 23, 2002. In September 2015, his donor kidney failed and he began Hemodialysis once again. After undergoing extensive testing, he has now been placed on the Kidney Transplant list.
