Celedonio is a 49-year-old man suffering from Nephrotic Syndrome with Membranous Glomerulonephritis. In February 2014, his life came to an unexpected halt due to extreme swelling in his body. He was unrecognizable to his family and friends. He is now in complete renal failure and relies on weekly dialysis treatments to keep him alive. At this point, his only hope for long term survival is a kidney transplant; however, the cost is overwhelming.

Celedonio is a hardworking man who immigrated to the US in 1987, in search of the American dream in order to help provide for his mother. He has worked in the hospitality industry and in construction since his arrival. He has many hobbies which bring him immense joy, including dancing, cooking, and playing with his niece and nephew. Celedonio looks forward to life after transplant when he can again enjoy these things to the fullest.

After many years of serving others Celedonio now needs our help. Even with Medicare insurance, there are many expenses that are not covered. Celedonio will be responsible for many out-of-pocket costs, including co-pays, deductibles, and the costly anti-rejection medications he will have to take for the rest of his life. Despite the monumental financial responsibility ahead of him, he does not lose hope in living the rest of his life dancing, cooking, and chasing after his nieces and nephews!
