Over the past 22 years our dear friend has contended with the unrelenting disease. It has slowly robbed her of all her mobility. In 2002, she needed a cane in 2006 she needed a walker and by 2010 a wheelchair and today she has virtually no use of her arms and hands.
Now, Allison needs 24/7 care along with various therapies and medications. These expenses multiply quickly. Unfortunately, Allison’s limited insurance does not cover everything needed to maintain her health, quality of life or continue to fight further progression of the disease. Between medical deductibles, medications, caregivers and physician’s therapies, out of pocket costs are approximately $540 or more weekly. This is quite the financial burden to add to their daily expenses. Allison desperately needs your help!
Though this condition has taken a lot from Allison, it has never been able to steal her happiness or her love for life. Allison firmly believes as Poet Robert Louis Stevenson said, “Life is not a matter of holding good cards, but playing a poor hand well”. She spends much of her time encouraging and comforting individuals in the community with a bible message via the phone or letter writing. She always endeavors to live her life to the best of her ability with her loving husband of 13 years, Albert, as well as their caring family and friends.
To help offset such expenses, a fundraising campaign in Allison’s honor has been established with Help Hope Live, a trusted nonprofit organization that has been providing community-based fundraising guidance to patients and their families for more than 30 years. All donations are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law, are held by Help Hope Live in the Northwest Catastrophic Illness Fund, and are administered by Help Hope Live for transplant-related expenses only. Thank you!
Dear Family and Friends
Allison and family want to thank you for your support for the last months. It has not been a easy road for her,. Allison still needs your support because she is dealing with Trigeminal pain and her MS. Also her husband Albert's, job was transferred to India and he no longer has a position with his company. So will need support for her caregivers and PT with Pushing boundaries, which is the core of her strength training to keep her as active as possible. Any support though HelpHopeLive will be deeply appreciated.
Yours truly,
Love The Walker and Raney Family
Dear Family and Friends
Allison's Journey is not over she still needs your support and prayers. We appreciate all your support thus far and at this time she still needs your support for her care and the special physical therapy.
With your support we can see how encouraging it will be for Allison to continue on her lifelong journey with multiple sclerosis.
Thank you, Love Allison and Family
Dear Family and Friends
I am happy to say that the money raised thus far has made a difference for Allison's care while Albert was working in India! We are so grateful for your generosity. It could not have happened without each of your loving and caring donations. As Allison’s mother it warms my heart and I thank each and everyone of you. As time moves on I know we can count on friends and family for support when needed, seeing that MS is a costly degenerative disease. With love and deep gratitude, Christine Walker and family

Allison receiving priceless therapy for her mind, body, and soul. For her body it aligns her hips, increases circulation for her edema, and regulates her digestive system. For the mind, it stimulates her muscle memory which by lack of use has deteriorated her natural range of motion. And, for her soul, it fills her with joy which enhances her quality of life. The smile on her face when she is standing eye to eye with her instructors is the reward for her hard work.
Allison, I hope you remember me - I worked with you at Nordstrom on the Brand Team. You were such a strong, giving and shining light on the team. You had a strong vision - I remember you telling everyone in 1999 that "Pink" was going to be a huge star someday. How right you were! Stay strong and know you are loved always! Tamera
