Rayshonda, is a 35-year-old wife, mother and teacher who is very ill. After years of struggling with cardiomyopathy, a heart transplant is her only hope for survival. Rayshonda is one of the kindest people you’d ever hope to meet and she needs our help. The cost of a transplant can be overwhelming.
Rayshonda grew up in North Philadelphia and graduated from Franklin Learning Center High School. After years of being a stay-at-home mom, Rayshonda began work as a preschool teacher. Not long after starting the job, Rayshonda was forced to leave due to her illness. Rayshonda really looks forward to getting back to work.
Transplants are life saving but financially draining. Even with insurance, Rayshonda is facing very high expenses including post-transplant medications, co-pays, lab fees and more. Our family is committed to seeing her through this transplant but we need everyone’s help with the financial stress that it will put on us.
