Bill was diagnosed two years ago with Pulmonary Fibrosis (PF), a progressive lung disease which causes damage and scarring of the lungs, making it a struggle to breathe. Unfortunately, there is no cure for this disease and the only hope for Bill’s survival is a lung transplant. However, the cost associated with a transplant can be overwhelming! A fundraising campaign at HelpHOPELive began on April 30, 2016 and on that same day, God blessed him with two new lungs – his gift-of-life! We are so grateful to the donor from Boston, MA.

Bill grew up in Delaware County and graduated from Chichester High School. Before becoming disabled, he worked as a Chemical Operator at Honeywell International. He has been happily married to his soul mate, Lisa, for 38 years and God blessed them with an amazing son, Ian. Our family has lived in Wilmington, DE for the past 23 years. Prior to his being diagnosed with PF, Bill enjoyed an extremely active lifestyle and dreams of the day when he will once again be able to take a walk with his wife and play a round of golf with his son.
