Twenty years ago David was diagnosed with renal failure. Over the years the disease has gotten progressively worse. He is making arrangements to begin receiving home dialysis. David’s only chance now at a healthy life is to have a kidney transplant. Transplants are life-saving, but very expensive, and David needs the help of the community to make this happen.
You may know David from the First Baptist Church where he has been serving faithfully for more than 20 years. He has been leading the food pantry, where he assists hundreds of families each month by distributing life-sustaining groceries to area residents in need.
Even with insurance, David will have many uninsured transplant-related expenses such as: co-pays and deductibles, lab fees and continued doctor visits, and the costly anti-rejection medications that he will need to take for the rest of his life. These expenses will likely exceed $25,000.
To help offset such expenses, a fundraising campaign in David’s honor has been established with Help Hope Live, a trusted nonprofit organization that has been providing community-based fundraising guidance to patients and their families for more than 30 years. All donations are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law, are held by Help Hope Live in the Southwest Kidney Transplant Fund, and are administered by Help Hope Live for transplant-related expenses only. If you would like to make a contribution today please click the DONATE NOW button.
I thank you in advance for your support and kindness.
