Lynn grew up in La Marque and married her soul mate, Charlie. They just celebrated 40 years on Valentine’s Day. They just had their 4th grandchild born and are looking forward to see her grow up. Our family is committed to seeing Lynn through this transplant.
Transplants are life saving but financially draining. Even with insurance, she is facing very high expenses including relocation for several months to be closer to St. Luke’s Hospital, post-transplant medications over $1,200 a month, co-pays, lab fees and more.
To help with the financial burden of Lynn’s uninsured expenses, a fundraising campaign in her honor has been established with Help Hope Live, a trusted nonprofit organization that has been providing community-based fundraising guidance to patients and their families for more than 30 years. All donations are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law, are held by Help Hope Live in the South-Central Liver Transplant Fund, and are administered by Help Hope Live for transplant-related expenses only. Please consider making a contribution.
Thank you for your prayers, support and generosity.
Gratefully,
Valerie Young, Linda’s daughter

January 28,2017
I was called in for my liver transplant last January 22,2017. Went to the hospital and tests began. After about 10 hours I was told the donar liver was not of good quality therefore the transplant was not performed. My husband Charles and me left the hospital and went home. Most disappointed but really relieved they do these tests on the donar liver.
My faith is extremely super charged now. Waiting patiently for the next call. All prayers are appreciated and any financial help is appreciated. Hugs until next time. Linda
Well it has been a while. Lots have been going on. My health seems to be getting worse. I am currently recovering from last weeks hospital stay. I am retaining lots of fluid which makes life miserable and hard for me to breathe. The dr drained a good amount of fluid from my lung area but I am on oxygen 24/7 for the first time in my life. I still have faith that the lord will help me. If you could donate it would be a wonderful thing. God bless
