Brennan and Brody are seven-year-old identical twin boys from Pawtucket, RI. They are second grade students, funny, mischievous, and loving. They also have many obstacles that they face each and every day due to their significant complex medical needs. Brennan and Brody were diagnosed at two years old with a chromosomal deletion that causes a severe form of epilepsy. Brennan and Brody have seizures every day of their lives. Both boys are unable regulate their body temperature, fatigue easily, have cognitive and physical delays and rely on feeding tubes for nutrition. They require full support and supervision. The twins live at home with their big brother Landon, Mom and Dad and thrive thanks to the care and assistance of their team of nurses, family and friends. Brennan and Brody love life and it shows in their constant smiles. They have overcome so many challenges in seven short years and face each day with incredible determination.
Brennan and Brody are growing and caring for them is becoming more of a challenge. We have been transferring Brennan and Brody in and out of their adaptive strollers to car seats when we leave the house. The boys will soon require a modified vehicle to transport them safely. The purchase of this vehicle is an extreme expense that will not be covered by insurance which is why we need your help. A modified vehicle that will fit their needs exceeds $60,000. A wheelchair accessible vehicle is a necessity to continue to provide Brennan and Brody with the opportunities and adventures all little boys deserve. Our family is prepared to use savings, financing and fundraising to cover the cost of this vehicle.
To help with the financial burden of Brennan and Brody’s uninsured expenses, a fundraising campaign in their honor has been established with Help Hope Live, a trusted nonprofit organization that has been providing community-based fundraising guidance to patients and their families for more than 30 years. All donations are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law, are held by Help Hope Live in the Northeast Catastrophic Illness Fund, and are administered by Help Hope Live for illness-related expenses only. Please consider a contribution.

Thank you for your generosity, support and encouragement.

Farewell 2016, Hello 2017!
Brennan and Brody have been busy boys and we could not be more proud of them this year (and always)! We will be diving in to the fundraising and saving process for an accessible vehicle in 2017. We hope you will come along for the ride with us!
Brody became a Cub Scout! He is so excited to be a member of Pack 24. It has been an excellent opportunity for him and he beams with pride as he advances through his rank. He is doing well in school as a second grader!
Brennan has overcome a lot in 2016. We started the year with huge feeding challenges. A surgical J tube was placed in May and has allowed Brennan to thrive. He is feeling so much better, able to attend school more regularly and experiences less pain. He still loves Spiderman and developed a love of Legos this year!
Both boys are looking forward to a family trip to the indoor water park this spring to celebrate their 8th birthdays!
Brennan and Brody have had an awesome summer and are going to start second grade next week. Our family has been busy enjoying family time and summer days. We are now ready to start planning for the next steps in the process to our ultimate goal- a wheelchair accessible vehicle for our super twins.
We had so much support in the NMEDA contest earlier this summer. We made it to the semi finals and helped raise awareness for differing mobility needs.
Please continue to follow our journey here!
We entered a contest last month that runs through the end of May to potentially win an adaptive van ( its a long shot but we would never know if we didn't try!) so friends and family are actively sharing our story and voting. It is through the National Mobility Equipment Dealers Association Mobility Awareness Month campaign.
