My husband, Joseph Dardar is a 46-year-old man who is very ill. After years of struggling with cardiomyopathy and heart blockages, a heart transplant is his only hope for survival. Joseph is one of the kindest people you will every hope to meet and he needs your help. The cost of a transplant can be overwhelming.

Joseph grew up in Golden Meadow, LA and completed 10th grade at South Lafourche High School. He had to leave school early to help support his family because his dad broke his hip in seven different places and his mother and 7 siblings needed his help. He was very industrious and became a shrimper, worked on an oil field supply boat, became a blaster painter, and eventually had his own carpentry business. He is the loving father to our three children and fun grandfather of three. One of our sons is severely autistic and we are his full time caregivers.

Transplants are life saving but financially draining. Even with insurance, there are many expenses that must be paid out of pocket. Some of these are co-pays, deductibles, travel to and from the transplant center and Joseph will need to relocate for six months to be near Ochsner Foundation Hospital at the time of transplant. In addition, Joseph will be on a life-time of expensive anti-rejection medications. This is where your help is desperately needed.

Hi I'm Joseph Dardar Sr. I'm from Golden Meadow, Louisiana. I'm married with 3 children and 3 grandchildren. I'm in need of a heart transplant and I live off of an LVAD (heart pump). I'm need of money for my medical bills. Any donation would be appreciated. Thanks and God bless.
