As many of you already know, my friend, Mark Anton had a successful kidney transplant on April 17, 2013.

Due to the extraordinary expense of transplantation, funding this lifesaving operation is a monumental task. Mark and Nancy stayed in Topeka for four months due to minor complications. This temporary relocation housing, along with food, transportation cost and medical expenses have depleted the monies raised previously through HelpHopeLive.

Despite having his teacher’s medical insurance, Mark will always have uninsured transplant-related expenses such as: co-pays and deductibles and the costly immunosuppressant medications that he will need to take for the rest of his life. This presents a financial challenge that he and his family cannot meet alone.

Dear Friends and Family,

As many of you already know, Mark Anton had a successful kidney transplant on April 17th 2013!

Mark and Nancy remained in Topeka in a furnished apartment for four months. This extended stay and the addition of medical expenses has depleted the previously raised HelpHOPELive fund.

To help offset Mark's uninsured costs, his friends would like to restart a fund raising campaign. Donations are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law. You can make a difference in Mark's life. Please consider a contribution.
