Kris Murray, my husband and the father of our two precious daughters, Mikaela and Ashley, is in dire need of a kidney transplant and needs the help of our family, friends, and community to help make this happen. Transplants are lifesaving, but very expensive.

Kris is a loving husband and an amazing father to our young girls. He is a Godly man and has a heart to serve others. He has been part of missions trips to Ecuador and Chile where he helped to rebuild schools and refurbish the local church. Kris also served honorably in the US Navy for 10 years, it was at this time during Kris’ exit medical exam he was diagnosed with IGA Nephropathy, a debilitating disease that attacks the kidneys. After years of damage to his kidneys, in May of 2015 Kris’ kidney prognosis became worse and resulted in End Stage Renal Disease. He was immediately hospitalized and placed on dialysis. Kris is now completely dependent on dialysis, as it serves as his only lifesaving alternative to healthy kidneys. Dialysis has taken a toll on Kris as he finds himself extremely tired most days and in discomfort. It has affected his quality of life, but more tragically, dialysis leaves Kris too exhausted to spend valuable time with our young daughters. Kris’ only chance to return to good health and live a normal life is a kidney transplant.
