Will you help us get a wheelchair van for Hanna?
Hanna was born in November of 2000 with a chromosomal abnormality and a diagnosis of holoprosencephaly. What this means is Hanna is fully dependent on others for her care. She is legally blind and deaf and relies on a wheelchair for transportation. Although Hanna is severely disabled, she brings so much joy and life to her family and those around her. She loves being out and about in the community and is a very social girl! Hanna is almost 16 years old now and, as she has grown, it has become increasingly difficult for us to lift her in and out of our current van. Trying to maneuver her in and out can put her at risk for injury.
Many have asked how they can help Hanna in a tangible way. So it is with great joy that we invite you to take part in a fundraiser to provide for Hanna’s WHEELCHAIR VAN! Converted vans can cost more than twice as much as a typical van! However, this wheelchair van would give Hanna the chance to participate fully in the many activities we would like to continue to enjoy with her and will keep her safe and happy! Will you please consider helping us out?
To help with the financial burden of Hanna’s uninsured expenses, a fundraising campaign in her honor has been established with Help Hope Live, a trusted nonprofit organization that has been providing community-based fundraising guidance to patients and their families for more than 30 years. All donations are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law, are held by Help Hope Live in the Northwest Catastrophic Illness Fund, and are administered by Help Hope Live for injury-related expenses only. Please consider a contribution.

Thank you for any help that you can offer.
