Roz still manages to work full-time as a travel consultant and serves faithfully on the Welcome Team at Elevation Church in Charlotte, NC. Roz is also very active on the social and pool committees in her neighborhood. Roz’s greatest joy is spending time with her grandson, Lucas, and is looking forward to the birth of another grandson, Jonah, in September.
Transplants are lifesaving but financially draining. Funding this procedure is a monumental task, as there will be many medical expenses not covered by insurance: co-pays, travel to and from the transplant center and the costly anti-rejection medications that Roz will need to take for the rest of her life.
To help offset such expenses, a fundraising campaign in Roz’s honor has been established with Help Hope Live, a trusted nonprofit organization that has been providing community-based fundraising guidance to patients and their families for more than 30 years. All donations are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law, are held by Help Hope Live in the South-Atlantic Kidney Transplant Fund, and are administered by Help Hope Live for transplant-related expenses only. If you would like to make a contribution, please click the DONATE NOW bar.
Thank you for your prayers, support and generosity. Keep an eye on this campaign page at because we will be planning some fundraising events soon and posting updates regularly.
