Roz was diagnosed with Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) many years ago. PKD is a genetic disorder that causes cysts to grow in the kidneys. Eventually the cysts become large and overtake the kidneys causing kidney failure. Roz is now completely dependent on dialysis which she has three days a week. Her only chance to return to good health is a kidney transplant.

Roz still manages to work full-time as a travel consultant and serves faithfully on the Welcome Team at Elevation Church in Charlotte, NC. Roz is also very active on the social and pool committees in her neighborhood. Roz’s greatest joy is spending time with her grandson, Lucas, and is looking forward to the birth of another grandson, Jonah, in September.
