I’m a woman who is in desperate need of a transplant. A kidney and pancreas transplant is my only hope for survival. The cost of all the medical bills and procedures can be overwhelming.

I was born and raised in Southern Nevada. I was diagnosed at the age of four with diabetes. I started having trouble with my kidney cells. My body got in a fight and I was immediately put on the transplant list. I was on the transplant list for two years and eventually got my new kidney. I was crying happy tears but nine years later my kidneys failed again and I’m right back at square one. I was told after I have my two transplants I will be disease free.

Transplants are lifesaving but financially draining. Even with insurance there are many expenses that must be covered out of pocket. Some of these are co-pays, deductibles, lab fee, transportation to and from the transplant center and relocation expenses at the time of transplant. In addition, I will be on a life-time of expensive anti-rejection medications. This is where your support is desperately needed.
