Kenneth is a retired RTA driver who enjoys family and friends. Since his illness Kc’s been sidelined but wishes to return to the job he loves. Kenneth is now dependent on dialysis, which he undergoes three days a week. His only chance to return to good health and a normal life is a kidney transplant.
Kenneth’s brother, Yonsen, will be donating his kidney if a match. But, funding this life saving procedure is a monumental task, as there will be many medical expenses not covered by insurance: co-pays, travel expenses for the donor and recipient, and the expensive anti-rejection medications that Kenneth will have to take for the rest of his life. Expenses are adding up to more than the family can handle.
To help with the financial burden of Kenneth’s uninsured expenses, a fundraising campaign in his honor has been established with Help Hope Live, a trusted nonprofit organization that has been providing community-based fundraising guidance to patients and their families for more than 30 years. All donations are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law, are held by Help Hope Live in the Great Lakes Kidney Transplant Fund, and are administered by Help Hope Live for transplant-related expenses only. Please consider making a contribution by clicking donate now.
Your support is critical to the overall success of Kenneth’s struggle. Please know that your contribution counts. On behalf of Kenneth and his family, we thank you in advance for your kind consideration.
Gratefully,
Dezelle Stodghill, wife
