I only heard about this accident a few weeks ago and was immediately brought to tears...right in the middle of the Ghostbusters premiere party (if only it was a sad movie, no one would've noticed!). Words cannot possibly convey how sorry I am, and how much I want to support Janine in every way I can.
I recently gave up my fabulous salary in advertising to pursue my dreams in film and comedy, so, as you might imagine, I went from a very comfortable lifestyle to being a poor stand-up comedian. But, I'm working on it, and I will give and give and give more the moment my finances are back in the black. For now, I've made a small donation. But, I would also like to look into doing some sort of stand-up show fundraiser for Janine either here in NYC or out there. I'll talk to her about it soon, but if anyone reading this is a stand-up or works at a good venue for this, please let me know - my email is sdippoldp@gmail.com. Or, if someone is already working on some sort of fundraising event and needs entertainment, please give me a shout.
