Some of you know that my wife, Michell Gordon suffers from Multiple Sclerosis (MS). MS has greatly affected her life and has taken its toll on her health. After much consideration and research, Michell has decided to undergo a stem cell transplant that will hopefully repair much of the damage the disease has caused. The procedure will use Michell’s own stem cells to grow new, healthy cells. It is now her best chance to return to good health. Unfortunately, this procedure is not covered by insurance and is very costly.

Michell is a longtime resident of Augusta, Georgia. She is a wonderful wife, loving mother to our daughter Lakeya, and a groovy grandmother to our two grandchildren. Michell is known as the singing baker. You may have tasted one of her made from scratch chocolate chip cookies or one of her many scrumptious cupcakes. Perhaps you have seen her singing with the CSRA Gospel Mass Choir at the Annual Gospel Explosion programs. Michell is a faithful member of the Greater St. John Baptist (GSJ) church family where she sings with the youth and the adult choir as well as the church’s mass choir. She is also a member of the GSJ Women’s Ministry. She has always put herself aside to help her family, friends and anyone in need of her assistance, but now Michell needs your help. With the support of family and her deeply rooted faith, Michell remains firm in her hope for a complete return to a healthy life.
