Sometime in life you must face an obstacle that you wouldn’t think in a million years could happen to you. Bill and Jackie are two people who thought this until Bill was diagnosed with polycystic kidney disease. His kidneys are covered with cysts and eventually the kidney will lose all function. The only way to help Bill is to have a kidney transplant which we all know can be very costly.
Bill is a 56-year-old New Jersey native with two boys and a loving wife. Bill and Jackie met when they were kids and as time passed they knew they were meant for each other. Bill has worked hard to support his family and has done what he could to make their lives better each day. Whether you’ve known Bill for two seconds or have known him your whole life, you know how much of a fighter he is and is determined to beat this disease.
After many years of helping others, Bill needs our help more than ever, we need Bill back as the person we once knew him to be! Even with Medicare, there will be many uninsured transplant-related expenses such as copays and deductibles, doctor visits, travel and temporary relocation expenses and the costly anti-rejection medications that he will need for the rest of his life. These expenses are expected to be astronomically high. We need your support to make Bill’s transplant a success.
To help offset such expenses, a fundraising campaign in Bill’s honor has been established with Help Hope Live, a trusted nonprofit organization that has been providing community-based fundraising guidance to patients and their families for more than 30 years. All donations are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law, are held by Help Hope Live in the South-Atlantic Transplant Fund, and are administered by Help Hope Live for transplant-related expenses only. If you would like to make a contribution, please click the DONATE NOW bar.
Thank you!
