Jaxson was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis shortly after he had his first surgery at 1 day old. Three months later he had his second surgery where the doctors diagnosed him with biliary atresia. For three years Jaxson has been in and out of hospitals and his childhood has been anything but normal because of it.
Jaxson is the third of four children – he has a little sister Lunah, an older sister Audrina, and an older brother Cody. We all love him dearly and want to see him lead a healthy life. He is a very bright, brave, and strong little boy who has gone through so much since birth. Together our family is committed to seeing him through this transplant.
Transplants are lifesaving but financially draining. Even with insurance, we still have many out of pocket expenses. We are facing co-pays, anti-rejection medications, travel to and from Oklahoma City, and care-giving costs—all of these expenses are adding up to more than our family can handle alone.
To help offset these expenses, a fundraising campaign in Jaxson’s honor has been established with Help Hope Live, a trusted nonprofit organization that has been providing community-based fundraising guidance to patients and their families for more than 30 years.
