Jim is the father to 5 children and 17 grandchildren and has another grandchild on the way. Jim was born and raised in Denver, Colorado, yet he is a proud Oakland Raiders football fan. Having moved to Florida about 27 years ago, Jim had a very successful career as a concrete finisher, working on some of the best buildings here in the Tampa/Orlando area. He is very proud of his work around the area. It can be seen at Universal Studios and Busch Gardens, the FBI building and the County building as well all the various home communities and commercial buildings in the area. Jim has helped in the growth of the Tampa/Orlando area and is very proud of it. Jim is a kind and thoughtful man who has gone out of his way to help the elderly, the homeless and of course rehome pets in need. Anyone who knows Jim, you know he has a joke for every occasion and always makes you laugh. Together, Jim and his family are committed to seeing him through this transplant to see his family grow.
After helping others, Jim is now the one who needs our help. Transplants are life-saving but are financially draining. Even with insurance, Jim’s medications, clinic visits, testing, co-payments, deductibles and travel to the transplant center is costly. There are some anti-rejection medications that are not even covered by insurance.
To help offset such expenses, a fundraising campaign in Jim’s honor was established with Help Hope Live, a trusted nonprofit organization that has been providing community-based fundraising guidance to patients and their families for more than 30 years. All donations are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law, are held by Help Hope Live, are held by Help Hope Live in the Southeast Liver Transplant Fund, and are administered by Help Hope Live for injury-related expenses only. If you would like to make a contribution please click on the DONATE NOW button.
Thank you for your support
