Marc suffered kidney failure at the end of 2016 due to diabetes. It’s uncommon for a diabetic patient to experience kidney failure during the first 10 years of diabetes diagnosis. This was not Marc’s case; he had to go on disability at the age of 45.
These past 3 years have being a struggle in every way possible for Marc and his family – wife Carolina and 2 children, Nicole and Felipe. Marc, his wife and doctors started working immediately on getting him qualified for the transplant list. Now we face the challenge of raising the funds to support the many expenses that are not covered by insurance but that are a must for the transplant to take place.
There are not enough words to express the gratitude and thankfulness of Marc, Carolina and their children for all the help they can get for Marc so he can have this second chance of living longer.
Marc has chosen to fundraise with HelpHOPELive in part because HelpHOPELive assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility for donors. Donors can be sure that funds donated will be used only to pay or reimburse medically-related expenses. To make a tax-deductible donation to this fundraising campaign, click on the Donate Now button.
