11 years ago my life changed forever. I am Chrissy Duryee and I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) on October 14th, 2005. Prior to diagnosis, I was looking forward to starting my first job post college when I began experiencing neurologic and urinary problems. After many doctor visits and tests, an MRI and a lumbar puncture, I was told, during a blunt phone call from the doctor’s office, that I have MS. I was told that I would be in a wheelchair in 10 years. My reaction was “How can he say this to me? He doesn’t know who I am or really anything about me!” The power of positive thinking is everything.
I have tried many different therapies throughout the 11 years and I feel that stem cell is a once in a life time opportunity for me. I will have to travel to receive the treatment. They will harvest my own fat cells, separate out the stem cells from the fat cells, activate the cells with a low light laser and then infuse them back through my body.

This is a month to be thankful and I wanted to thank all of you! Everyone who donates, supports, reads my posts, or encourages me to do better and continue to fight my battle. Thank you all for being my ANGELS!! I would not be able to go out to California to participate in stem cell treatment without every single one of you. "Words cannot express how truly thankful I am - but I hope you know sincerely how much your kindness means to me! I am forever grateful for your love and support
As you may or may not know, I have exceeded my goal of $15,000!! So where does all of the “extra” money go? Well, it goes several places. It will go to funding my stay while I am there. It will go to what Stemgenex calls a double dose – increasing my chances of getting better ($5,000 on top of the $15,000). It also goes to after care when I get back to KC and need oxygen treatment! So, literally every dollar counts! This would all be out of my pocket if you all didn’t help me. THANK YOU!! From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU!!! Thank you for being a part of Chrissy’s Angels!
