Family and friends of Frances Neubert are raising money to pay for uninsured medical expenses associated with stem cell transplantation for treatment of her Multiple Sclerosis.

Frances has been fighting hard for over a decade and her MS has rapidly progressed in the last year. Less than a year ago, she was actively walking and jogging and riding her bike daily- she now struggles with balance issues and requires a cane every day.

She persevered and accomplished her goal of getting her Bachelors Degree through the fatigue and the cognitive issues that come with the accumulation of brain lesions. This now makes working full time extremely difficult and emotionally draining but she is not ready to give up or give in to all the struggles MS brings daily. She seeks to halt the progression of her disease through a ‘reboot’ of her immune system similar to what is done for certain types of leukemia. The major difference is that the new immune system will come from her own cells so there is no risk of rejection. In clinical trials in the US and around the world, 87% of patients experienced a halting of the progression of the disease. We wish for Frances to stop her disease now while she still has the opportunity to live her best life. Frances has five grandchildren that deserve an active and playful Gramma. Frances and her husband Frank love to travel to visit family all over the US and they have a great schnoodle dog named Max that loves to take lots of walks.
