Bob Barbour, a husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend to many is in need of a new kidney transplant and needs the help of his family, friends and his community to make it happen. Transplants are life-saving, but very expensive.
A year ago, Bob was diagnosed with complete renal failure. Because of his kidney failure, Bob is unable to work full time. He misses being a carefree adult, and being able to keep up with his family and friends. Bob is now completely dependent on dialysis which he undergoes at an outpatient dialysis center three times a week. His only chance to return to a good and normal life style is with a kidney transplant.
Bob has numerous family members and friends that are willing to be tested to see if they are a match. But funding this life saving procedure is a monumental task as there will be many medical expenses not covered by insurance, such as co-pays and anti-rejection medications.
To help with the financial burden of Bob’s uninsured expenses, a fundraising campaign in his honor has been established with Help Hope Live, a trusted nonprofit community based fundraising guidance to patients and their families for more than 30 years. All donations are tax deductible to the full extent of the law, are held by Help Hope Live South-Central Kidney Transplant Fund, and are administered by Help Hope Live for transplant-related expenses only. Please consider a contribution.

Your support is critical to the overall success of Bob’s struggle. Please know that your contribution counts. On behalf of Bob and his family, thank you in advance for your kindness, generosity and consideration.
We are happy to report that Bob 2 months post transplant and he is back to working on a restricted basis. He is beyond excited to get out of the house and he’s doing big well enough that his doctor gave him the ok.
I was finally approved yesterday by the committee to be a living donor for Bob. Our transplant surgery is scheduled for July 12…
