I grew up and graduated in Marlow, Oklahoma. I am the proud mother of two amazing children. Shayna, 15, is a sophomore at Marlow High School. Keeton, 23, will graduate from Cameron University in May. I was employed at Banc First for 13 years, before going to work for Stephens County Rural Water for 8 years. I look forward to returning to work once I receive my transplant.
Transplants are life saving but financially draining. Even with insurance, the co-pays and premiums are terribly expensive. The post-transplant medications alone are $3,600.00 per month. This presents a challenge that my family and I cannot meet alone.
To help with the financial burden of these uninsured expenses, a fundraising campaign in my honor has been established with Help Hope Live, a trusted nonprofit organization that has been providing community-based fundraising guidance to patients and their families for more than 30 years. All donations are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law, are held by Help Hope Live in the South-Central Liver Transplant Fund, and are administered by Help Hope Live for transplant-related expenses only. To make a tax-deductible donation to this fundraising campaign, click on the Donate Now button.
Thank you for all your prayers, support, and generosity.
