Emily is a 16 year old who has a passion for life. It doesn't seem real some days that for almost 8 years of multiple autoimmune therapies, 7 chemotherapy treatments, countless hospital stays (sometimes a week or with some of those visits flying back and forth from Alaska to Seattle Children's Hospital.. , monthly doctor visits, and countless lab work, this girl has not lost her fighting spirit. Not to mention she has been on home peritoneal dialysis for almost two years now! She has finally been able to get the go-ahead for a kidney and possible liver transplant. As you can imagine, it has taken a great financial toll on our family, but not our fighting spirit. Emily is a wonderful student who tries not to miss any days of school. She gets A's and B's. She's a wonderful person. As my daughter, she is my personal hero for everything that she has fought through. We are asking our family, friends and people who know and love Emily, and those who have heard of her and all that she gone through these past almost 8 years ! We ask to help us make this possibility of a new healthier life with a new kidney and new liver possible. As you can imagine all of the treatments and medical that Emily has gone through and still going through! As we take these new steps into a new unknown we're asking for your support your prayers for Emily and for our family for the best possible outcome for this Brave child who has to endured so much and must endure so much more to get to the finish line of life. Thank you for your love your prayers and your support we greatly appreciate it all..
Keep that smile young lady, you are an inspiration. Wishing you every success.
