Richard Bodnar was diagnosed with End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) in 2015. Since that time, he has started kidney dialysis and has been listed for a kidney transplant at two North Carolina Transplant Centers. Funds collected in his name through Help Hope Live will be used to offset the cost of anti-rejection prescription drugs after the transplant. These drugs cost thousands of dollars per month and are only partially covered by insurance. Be assured that any donations will only be used for medically necessary expenses.
