Denny has been a diabetic for about 21 years now. In May of 2016, his world was turned upside down. He was admitted to the hospital for congestive heart failure but was also told he was in stage 4 kidney failure. Denny started dialysis in January 2017 and has not been able to work since March 2017. Denny is now completely dependent on dialysis, which he does at home every night. He wants to get back to work and enjoy his family and his only chance to return to good health is a kidney transplant.
Denny is currently on the national transplant list and also actively seeking a living donor. Funding this life saving procedure is a monmental task. There are many expenses not covered by insurance: co-pays, lifelong anti-rejection medicaitions, travel expenses and more. These expenses can add up very fast.
To help with the financial burden of Denny’s uninsured expenses, a fundraising campaign in his honor has been established with Help Hope Live, a trusted nonprofit organization that has been providing community-based fundraising guidance to patients and their families for more than 30 years. All donations are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law, are held by Help Hope Live in the South-Atlantic KidneyTransplant Fund, and are administered by Help Hope Live for transplant-related expenses only. Please consider contributing.
Thank you for your prayers, support and generosity.
Gratefully,
Brandy Stevens
