Dear Friends and Family,
Our mother, Geraldine Arnett of Morganton, NC, has been married to our Dad, Billy Arnett for 46 years. She is a wonderful mother of five daughters, grandmother of four, great-grandmother of two, sister and aunt. Geraldine has been diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver (end stage). Since that time, she has endured medical complications and hospitalization. This condition has caused life threatening damage to her liver. Her only remaining medical option is a life-saving liver transplant.
Geraldine is currently working with Carolinas Medical Center (Transplant Center) in Charlotte, NC. However, even with medical insurance, many of her needs are not covered and must be paid out-of-pocket. We anticipate substantial uninsured costs such as healthcare deductibles, co-payments, medications, travel and relocation housing. Fundraising is thus essential to the overall success of Geraldine’s struggle. This is where your help is desperately needed.
A fundraising campaign has been established through HelpHOPELive (HelpHOPELive), the leader in fundraising assistance, in honor of Geraldine Arnett. HelpHOPELive is a nonprofit organization that has been assisting the transplant community for over twenty-six years.
