Kristine Roseboom-Miller, the daughter of Rita Davis and sister of Rob Roseboom, was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Indiana. She eventually moved to Greenwood where she graduated from Greenwood High School in 1989. She now resides in Lafayette with her family. Ten years ago, Kristine was diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver and hepatitis C. She is unable to work due to her medical condition. Kristine needs a liver and needs the help of her community to make it happen. Transplants are life-saving but very expensive.

Kristine misses her care free life, able to keep up with her family and friends. Kristine is now completely dependent on medications. Her only chance to return to a normal and healthy life is by having the liver transplant.

Transplants are life-saving but financially overwhelming. Even with insurance, Kristine and her family are facing very high expenses, transportation, temporary housing, medication, lab fees and more. Her needs are more than her family can bear alone, and will continue long after receiving the lifesaving gift of a liver.
