Mikayla is an 18 year old young lady who suffers from Cystic Fibrosis. Mikayla has battled all her life with this illness and it has caused many ailments. Three weeks ago Mikayla was evaluated for a double lung transplant in which they said she was “too healthy” to be listed on the transplant list.
Fast forward to the last 72 hours…Mikayla fell critically ill, was put on life support, and needed an emergency double lung transplant to survive. Mikayla was actively listed for transplant yesterday July 26th 2017 at 5pm and the call came no less than 5 hours later. Mikayla is currently stable and recovering from this 7 hour surgery.

Hi Jessica & Mikayla! :) Stay strong!! I saw this campaign on the FB page of a friend whose son has CF. I've known her 25+ years & known her son all his life (which hopefully will be a long one!) I've also lost 2 online friends to CF. So this topic is very close to my heart.
