I grew up in Oregon and California. And I moved to Washington in 2007 and have lived in Kennewick, WA ever since. I have been struggling with my health for quite some time and now a transplant is my only hope hope for survival. My friends and family say that I am one of the most patient and kind person they know., and I try, but I it has been so hard with this illness.
A transplant can make all the difference and save my life. But even with insurance it is expensive and I have out of pocket expenses to cover including out of medication, travel, lodging/housing during treatments/testing, recovery and more. These appointments require me to be be close to Providence Hospital in Spokane, WA and post treatment medications.
To help with financial burden of uninsured expenses, a fundraising campaign has been established in my honor with Help Hope Live, a trusted nonprofit organization that has been providing community-based fundraising guidance to help patients and families in need for more than 35 years.
I chose to fundraise for Help Hope Live in part because Help Hope Live assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility to the full extent allowed by law for contributors. Donors can be sure that the funds donated will be used only to pay or reimburse medically-related expenses for me. To make a tax-deductible donation to this fundraising campaign, click on the Give button. And please consider sharing this link with others so they may donate as well.
