Wayne is also a Veteran with four years Active Duty and eleven years Active Reserve time. Wayne and Tami are active members of Bethany Presbyterian Church, Mercer. They are also former active Grange members for more than 30 years. Wayne and Tami count their blessings every day for the gift of life God has given them. Transplantation is life-saving, but financial draining. Funding this procedure is a monumental task, as there will be many uncovered costs such as anti-rejection medications, co-pays, biopsies, lab fees and more. Monthly medical expenses could easily total $1500 or more.
To help with the financial burden of uninsured expenses, a fundraising campaign has been established in my honor with Help Hope Live, a trusted nonprofit organization that has been providing community-based fundraising guidance to help patients and families in need for more than 30 years. All donations are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law and are held by Help Hope Live in the Mid-Atlantic Heart Transplant Fund in my honor. Donations are allocated by Help Hope Live based on financial need for medical expenses. Please consider donating.
Thank you in advance for your support, care, and donations. Knowing you are with us makes us very hopeful.
