Dear Family and Friends,

I have a disease called nonischemic cardiomyopathy, or congenital heart failure. I need a life-saving heart transplant and Tampa General has told me I need to have at least $12,000 before I can be placed on the transplant list. Val and I do not have the funds to support this request and I urgently need you help in attaining the funds to get the transplant. Even with insurance, there are many expenses that aren’t covered and the hospital wants me to be prepared for those expenses and the very expensive anti-rejection medications that I will have to take for the rest of my life. Val and I would be grateful for whatever you can do and hope that you will share my situation with others who may be able to help. Thank you for care, prayers, and support.
