In October of 2010, I was not feeling well and thought it was the flu. After seeing the doctor and getting admitted to the hospital for several days, I was diagnosed with a rare auto immune disease, membranoproliferative glomerular nephritis, mpgn, was killing my kidneys. By January of 2011, I was on dialysis full time. At this point, I could continue working and doing peritoneal dialysis for about 4 years.
My husband Paul died in December of 2014, and by April of 2015, I had to convert to hemodialysis as my abdominal lining had worn out from the peritoneal dialysis. I had to leave my job that I loved and take care of myself. After many bumps in the road, I am now medically ready for a kidney transplant.

Thank you, thank you over and over, I cannot thank you enough for your generosity. I am now approved to go back active on the kidney transplant list. I would not be here without your help. May GOD bless each and everyone of you.
