Jerrod was diagnosed with End Stage Renal Disease in October 2016. On January 12, 2020, he successfully received a kidney transplant.
Jerrod has worked as a jeweler and gemologist for the past 34 years. Presently Jerrod is a student at Austin Community College and will soon acquire an Associate’s Degree in jewelry manufacturing.
With completion of the Associate’s Degree and 34 years of jewelry making experience Jerrod will be qualified to work as an adjunct professor at Austin Community College teaching jewelry making. Jerrod also helps as a caretaker for his father twho has been diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease.
Family and friends of Jerrod Villarreal are raising money to pay for uninsured medical expenses associated with transplantation.
