Family and friends of Marisa Wipf are raising money to pay for uninsured medical expenses associated with transplantation.

Marisa has chosen to fundraise with Help Hope Live in part because Help Hope Live assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility for donors. Donors can be sure that funds donated will be used only to pay or reimburse medically-related expenses. Marisa, the mother of a beautiful little girl, needs the help of her community to make it possible for her to have a life-saving kidney transplant. While transplants are life-saving, they are also expensive.

Marisa was diagnosed with stage three chronic kidney failure at the young age of 13. She has waited eight years to get a transplant!

Marisa encountered complications during her second pregnancy. Sadly, she and her boyfriend, Dallas, lost their son. At the same time, Marisa’s kidney disease progressed to stage five.

Marisa wants her life back! A kidney transplant means that Marisa will be able to raise her daughter, now 3 years old, and have a healthy life.

Marisa does not yet have a donor. But, when she does, she knows the expenses of a transplant are overwhelming. Especially those expenses not covered by insurance like co-pays, medications, and travel to and from doctor appointments. They really add up and Marisa can’t do this alone.

Marisa and her family want to thank you for your generous and thoughtful consideration.
