Well I got my new kidney, on May 12, 2018 the day before Mother’s Day I went into transplant surgery. The doctors said everything went great and they were very pleased with the kidney they put inside me. Now its up to me to follow all the rules, make all my appointments and take all my meds prescribed. I am determined to get this right. It’s going to be a battle, but I refuse to lose this one. Wish me luck and please if you can help us out with a donation to help cover our ever expanding medical bills. We appreciate your generosity and your prayers.
I am selling my 10 day vacation to Florida/Bahamas land/sea trip for 2 persons to add to my fund. Includes mainland rental car, alcohol on the cruise and island portions and all hotels and meals. Airfare, to and from Florida not included neither are taxes, gratuities or purchases. So I am all ready to go except waiting on my tenants to move out so I can have clear sailing for my recovery. Plus I will need the extra money from the new tenants to help with expenses.plus Nything I can raise here. Like I said before, every little bit helps. I thank those that have donated already, it means so much.
Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season, I sure did enjoy spending time with family. However all the excitement has got me clean tuckered our. I will have to rest up so I can celebrate my birthday in a couple of months. Plus it’s time for the final push to the top of the list. I certainly can’t afford to let anything get in the way of me getting that new kidney. Everything is looking good and I appreciate the support I have gotten but ther is definitely more to do. So please donate, like and share my fundraiser page if you can. Love to all
Can’t sleep thought I would check my campaign and ask that everyone please pass it along by sharing my post with all your contacts to reach as many people as possible le. I need all the help I can get. And if anyone has an idea for a fundraiser please pm me on Facebook you your ideas, I haven’t came up with any good programs yet. God bless.
Have suffered a slight set back, but not giving in. I have some other health issues to clear up before any more progress on the transplant, I will know more at the end of the month. Pray for a good outcome and help me out with a donation to my campaign if you can. Love to all and blessings for the Mew Year.
Since mynear fatal car accident on 2012 things have been pretty difficult but lately everything seems to be going my way. Now if I can just raise enough money to support my new kidney I can start a new life. Please find it in your heart to donate whatever you can to help my dream come true.
They say it will go fast as soon as I pass all my preliminaries, I am so excited !
I was born with a chronic kidney disease that seemed to knock me back down every time I tried to live a good life. I was expected to die near 40 but I am a fighter and I refuse to sink. I have been on dialysis for over 14 years now, having to spend hours upon hours day after day hooked up to a machine that cleans toxins out of my blood that my body simply can’t process. 10 years is the average wait time for a kidney transplant I have been waiting much longer. Now when at last I am eligible for a new kidney I am told of the enormous amount of money required to maintain my would be new organ. I have insurance through medi-care, but there are so many aspects to this procedure that simply aren’t covered. I will have to take immuno suppressent medications for the rest of my life, which of coarse are very expensive. The average kidney transplant can cost up to $250,000.00 over a 5 year period about 20% of which is my co-pay. I am on a fixed income and my husbands job took a huge hit with the economy downturn. We barely get by now going farther into debt each month. There simply isnt any more money to pay my high medical expenses. I am told if I cannot suppprt my new kidney I cannot get one. I have to prove financial responsibility to even be called from the list. So as much as I hate to ask I am forced to do fundraising to save my life. I don’t know how much longer I can be successful on dialysis, my body is not tolerating the process very well anymore. I have had to fight and scratch my whole life it seems, born with a defective body, but I am still here fighting now and I humbly ask for your help in order to continue the fight. Please donate what you can. Every little bit will help me to reach my goal of a new healthier body. Your donations are fully tax deductible so please do what you can. I am truly grateful for your generosity. Thank you, Jeannie
