Martha B. Nyabwaya of Easton, PA is the daughter of Caren K. Nyabwaya and David Nyabwaya. She is need of Kidney Transplant and needs the help of her community to make it happen. Transplants are life saving but very expensive.
Fifteen years ago, 38-year old Martha was diagnosed with High Blood Pressure and was put on medication. In 2015 it was discovered that some of the medication she was taking had affected both of her kidneys. She loved to attend and sing in the church and enjoy her friends. She misses all these. Martha is now completely dependent on dialysis which she undergoes at a Local Community Center three days a week. Her only chance to return to good health is a kidney transplant.
The family is in the process of identifying one who will be donating a kidney to Martha. But, funding this life saving procedure is a monumental task, as there will be many medical expenses not covered by insurance: co-pays, anti-injection medications, the donor’s expenses will not to be well met the family and that is the reason we are reaching out to the community.
To help with the financial burden of the uninsured expenses, a fundraising campaign has been established in honor of Martha Nyabwaya with Help Hope Live, a trusted nonprofit organization that has been providing community based fundraising guidance to help patients and families in need for more than 30 years. All donations are tax deductable to the full extent allowed by the law and are held by Help Hope Live in the Mid-Atlantic Transplant Fund in honor of Martha Nyabwaya. Donations are allocated by Help Hope Live based financial needs for medical expenses. Please consider making a contribution today.
On behalf of the Martha and the family, we thank you in advance for your kind consideration.
Gratefully,
David Nyabwaya
