Two years ago Nelly was diagnosed with kidney failure and is now on dialysis 6 days a week for 8 hours. It was very hard to learn that she needs a kidney transplant.
Nelly has always lived a positive and productive life despite struggling with diabetes for 20 years, but now her kidney is not functioning.
While Nelly has health insurance, there are expenses not covered such as anti-rejection medication, travel expenses and more.
Donations to Help Hope Live can help ease the financial burden of a transplant and allow Nelly to focus on a healthy recovery.
Family and friends of Nelly Rubalcaza are raising money to pay for uninsured medical expenses associated with transplantation.
Nelly has chosen to fundraise with Help Hope Live in part because Help Hope Live assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility for donors. Donors can be sure that funds donated will be used only to pay or reimburse medically-related expenses. To make a tax-deductible donation to this fundraising campaign, click on the Donate Now button.
