Laura-Ashley Riley, a loving daughter, wife, and step-mom, needs a kidney transplant and needs the help of her community to make it happen. Transplants are lifesaving but very expensive.
Eight years ago, after months of treatments and fighting to prevent what turned out to be inevitable, she lost her transplanted kidney donated to her by a living donor, her Aunt Sherry. Laura-Ashley is now completely dependent on dialysis. She undergoes peritoneal dialysis every night for 10 hours at a time just to live. She can no longer work full-time, only very limited hours and cannot enjoy all that life has to offer her due to the extreme fatigue and confinement to her room for treatment. Living off a machine makes it very hard to keep up with most daily activities. Laura-Ashley has a loving husband and 12 year-old step-daughter who she cares about deeply and hopes to one day go on outings together again and enjoy simple moments. She looks forward to returning to work full-time to help provide for her family. For now, her doctors at Banner University Hospital have told Laura-Ashley her only chance to return to good health is a kidney transplant.
Laura-Ashley is awaiting a kidney from either the cadaver list or a living donor. She has had several people step forward to be potential donors, but a match has yet to be found. Though she has insurance, Laura-Ashley will be responsible for 20% to be paid out-of-pocket for the cost of both the transplant and hospital stay. Post-transplant, and for the rest of her life, she will be required to take extremely expensive anti-rejection medications which are not fully covered. Funding these expenses is a monumental task especially when living on one income. This is adding up to a challenge the Riley Family cannot handle alone. Your help is needed!
To help with the financial burden of uninsured expenses, a fundraising campaign has been established in honor of Laura-Ashley Riley with Help Hope Live, a trusted nonprofit organization that has been providing community-based fundraising guidance to help patients and families in need for more than 30 years. All donations are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law and are help by Help Hope Live in the Southwest Transplant Fund in honor of Laura-Ashley Riley. Donations are allocated by Help Hope Live based on financial need for medical expenses. Please consider making a contribution today.

Hi Everyone, This year is going to be a great year. I can feel it! In March we will be holding a fundraiser. Details are to come soon! Thanks again to all that visits my Campaign page and donates. We are in the process of testing a potential donor. Fingers Crossed!!
God Bless everyone!!
Hi Everyone, Thank you for taking the time to check out this Campaign and show your support for me. I am in need for a Kidney transplant. I currently do Dialysis 10 hours a day; everyday. I am limited to only working very few hours as it is very hard on my body.
I have disability income but that is a very small amount each month. I have Medicare insurance, but they only will cover the 80% of the transplant and doctor visits and my 20% is a lot. I need some help with raising the money for my co-pay for the transplant and after transplant medical care such as anti-rejection medications which can run about $3000 a month. While trying to remain as healthy as I can, I am still trying to live a normal life with a family and normal life expenses. My family is a wonderful support team, but even they can only donate so much. It was time to reach out to my community for help and support.
Any donation helps, and all donations go directly for only my medical needs for the transplant and post transplant care.
Thank you ever so kindly for the donation and God Bless!
Family and friends of Laura Riley are raising money to pay for uninsured medical expenses associated with transplantation.
