Kalynn is an angelic 4 year old that sustained a spinal cord injury as the result of a car accident where her mother was driving. Both were life flighted to Nashville, Tennessee and for several days both went through surgeries to try to mend their injuries. After two surgeries, doctors have presumed that Kalynn will be paralyzed as she had no luck in the spinal cord fusion surgery taking. Her mother Shannon tragically died following post complications of a fatty embolism shortly after a surgery to repair injuries sustained to her back. Kalynn is being sent to Atlanta for rehabilitation in the coming weeks with her family having no idea how the costs associated with travel to and other necessary costs such as food etc. Will be possible while maintaing their responsibilities. Kalynn is experiencing symptoms of depression and PTSD associated with the grief of losing her mother and is often non responsive to anyone. As a four year old who use to run and play, she just stares at her legs knowing something is wrong but not understanding what. This family is in dire need of donations for travel expenses and other expenses that will arise from loss of work.
