Help Linda enjoy her retirement dream!
Linda Lewis, formerly of West Monroe, Louisiana, now residing in Fayetteville, North Carolina is in need of a kidney and liver transplant. Linda needs the help of friends, family and community to make this happen. Transplants are very expensive but lifesaving.
Linda has been diagnosed with kidney trouble for some years now and has progressed to possible dialysis in the near future. Two and a half years ago she was diagnosed with fatty liver disease which resulted in cirrhosis of the liver which has limited her activity and freedom to do the things she loves and had planned for her retirement.
She will be receiving a kidney and liver transplant here in North Carolina. Insurance covers a lot of expenses, but there will be many other expenses such as drugs, lodging and anti-rejection medications not covered that will add up to more than the Lewis family can handle.
To help with the financial burden of uninsured expenses a fundraising campaign has been established in honor of Linda Lewis with Help Hope Live a trusted nonprofit organization that has been providing community-based fundraising guidance to help patients and families in need for more than 30 years. All donations are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law and are held by Help Hope Live in the Southwest Kidney Transplant Fund in honor of Linda Lewis. Donations are all allocated by Help Hope Live based on financial need for medical expenses. Please consider making a contribution today.
