Family and friends of Rebecca Roderick are raising money to pay for uninsured medical expenses associated with her kidney transplant.
As many of you know, Rebecca has Lupus, SLE. Nine years ago the Lupus “invaded” her kidneys causing Lupus Nephritis. Along with her team of doctors she vigorously completed all the tests, treatments, and chemotherapy that were asked of her. Unfortunately despite the team’s aggressive actions, Rebecca ended up with End Stage Renal Disease. So in March 2017 she began dialysis, relying on it completely for her kidney function. Dialysis is a temporary solution. Her only option now is a kidney transplant. The transplant will offer her more freedom, a longer, healthier life and return to a sense of normalcy.
Rebecca has health insurance, but many of the transplant expenses are unfortunately not covered along with anti-rejection medication she will need for the rest of her life.
Many of you have asked how you can help. If this is you, please consider making a donation to her campaign. Donations through Help Hope Live can help ease the financial responsibility of a transplant and allows Rebecca to focus on her recovery and a healthy long life. Many of you know Rebecca and asking for help does not come easy for her or her family. We want this aspect of the transplant process to not become a burden for her or her family. Help Hope Live assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deduction to the full extent allowed by law for donors. Donors can be sure that funds donated will be used only to pay or reimburse medically-related expenses. To make a tax-deductible donation to this fundraising campaign, click on the Give button.
We would like to Thank our Family and Friends who have continued to pray for Rebecca and her family after her 20 year struggle with Lupus. We look to the scriptures for strength. “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you with my right hand.” ~ Isaiah 41:10
