Janell has lived her whole life with a broken heart. Being born with a heart defect has caused her to undergo 4 surgeries. With her last surgery, an ICD was installed that has gone off 2 times in order to save her life.
Her heart failure began 4 years ago and Janell’s doctors have now recommended that it’s time for a heart transplant.
To support her through this immeasurable journey we, as her friends & family, are asking for your help. She will undergo an extensive surgery and have to relocate for 6-8 weeks. This will be a minimum of 2 weeks in the hospital post-surgery and 4-6 weeks for all her follow-up appointments and therapy.
As you can imagine, the costs will pile up for her & her husband David and we want this time to be focused on her healing and getting back to her old self again. Out-of-pocket hospital costs, medications, co-pays, travel & relocation costs as well as post-care will be where this money will be utilized.
Janell has had a blessed life! Becoming a mom was something Doctors always told her she wouldn’t be able to do. Her faith has carried her through all the ups and downs of her condition. It’s her passion of Biblical history and studies that has grown her faith in our Lord and Savior.
She still enjoys being in the kitchen cooking & baking. She is in love with her family and wants to be able to see her son Cameron grow up, and grow old with her husband David. Let’s help support them in any way we can; no dollar amount is too small! We are excited to get her through this phase of her life and move forward to more great memories ahead!
Janell has chosen to fundraise with Help Hope Live in part because Help Hope Live assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility for donors. Donors can be sure that funds donated will be used only to pay or reimburse medically-related expenses. To make a tax-deductible donation to this fundraising campaign, click on the Give button.
