Eric’s long battle with diabetes has cost him his ability to work due to an amputation of his left lower leg along with kidney disease. He now must adhere to the time constraints of dialysis 3 times per week for several hours. Eric is able to regain his freedom with a kidney transplant, but he needs your help.
We are asking you to join us in fundraising for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to assist with the necessary expenses he will incur after his surgery. These will include lodging near his transplant center, anti-rejection drug costs and travel expenses to follow up appointments.
Eric is blessed with two children: a 23 year old daughter Alisa who is a nurse in Virginia, and a 21 year old son Eric who plays baseball for Brunswick Junior College in North Carolina. He has a large extended family, coming from a family of 8 children. He attends his local church and community meetings in the low country of South Carolina where he was born and raised.
We are asking that you help us in giving Eric his dream of freedom from the treatments of dialysis that keep him from being employed and that would allow him the the ability to travel to see his children out of state. Even with is insurance the financial burdens may keep him from obtaining his transplant.
Family and friends of Eric Freeman are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with transplantation.
Eric has chosen to fundraise for Help Hope Live in part because Help Hope Live assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility for contributors. Contributors can be sure donations will be used to pay or reimburse medical and related expenses. To make a tax-deductible donation to this fundraising campaign, click on the Give button.
